The Molex ML-XT sealed connection system, the cost-competitive connector solution offers superior reliability for critical vehicle-wiring applications in harsh environments and is designed for use in multiple heavy-duty applications within the wiring architecture of a vehicle.
Molex has introduced new Multi-Port RF (MPRF) coaxial cable-to-board solutions, providing printed circuit board (PCB) designers and test and measurement engineers with a secure electrical connection suitable for high-vibration conditions. Featuring a rugged single housing design with dual latches to support the weight of the coaxial cables, the MPRF solution ensures a secure multi-port RF I/O connection.
Available in circuit sizes from 4 to 26, Picoflex connectors mate with 1.27mm cable – a worldwide industry standard. Tested to the high-vibration and shock requirements of the automotive, industrial and consumer electronics industries, Picoflex is ideal for use in such diverse applications as solar applications, weighing systems, vehicle infotainment, computer peripherals, telecommunications and portable heart monitors, says the company.
The connectors feature high nominal contact force and gold plated contacts. They are available in 6- and 8-circuit versions, in range of available profile heights that starts as low as 0.3mm and goes up to 2.4mm. The range also features 12-point soldering pads and a choice of three card placement directions (series 47019 only). Connectors for the latest nano SIMs (series 151059) are also available.
Molex has launched the Brad Micro-Push M12 connector for factory automation and industrial lighting applications. Featuring an innovative push-on mating interface, the connectors reduce installation time up to 80% compared to screw-style connectors and facilitate simple blind-mate connections in tight locations.
Molex Ditto wire-to-wire interconnects and pre-assembled harnesses can halve the tooling and operational costs of plug-and-receptacle power systems enabling users to increase the cost savings and operational efficiency of low-current consumer and lighting applications.
Molex Perma-Seal terminal connectors provide a rugged, environmentally sealed connection for wire sizes 8 to 22 AWG. Perma-Seal terminals and splices insulate, seal, and protect joints from hard use and abrasion, water, salt, and other corrosive compounds. The waterproof adhesive terminals and splices provide long-lasting, moisture-proof connections that withstand many corrosive fluids: saltwater, hydraulic fluids, and gasoline making them suitable for industrial, marine and automotive applications.
The rugged Molex ML-XT sealed connector system is cost-effectively offers superior reliability. The ML-XT system’s plastic housing and seal are moulded using a one-piece design, which is not only economical but also highly-reliable. Permanent bonding using two-shot liquid silicone rubber (LSR) moulding technology ensures IP68 ingress resistance as well as immunity to loss or misalignment of the seal. Accurate alignment ensures repeatable retention during unmating and mating of the plug and receptacle.
Molex standard antennas are based on diverse manufacturing and RF technologies. The antennas offer high performance and ease of integration. They are suitable for demanding and diverse wireless applications spanning the industrial, consumer, medical and automotive markets.
There is growing use of electronics in aircraft cabins to fulfil passengers’ needs for using their personal electronic equipment, as well as having access to inflight entertainment, passenger comfort systems, such as lighting, HVAC and safety, and automatic seat adjustment.
A high-performance Molex 1.2mm in-line connector system, the new Molex MXP120 sealed connector system for automotive and commercial vehicles is designed to replace traditional 1.5mm terminals in in-line harness applications, saving space and providing high performance within harsh environments.
