Melexis has introduced a new ToF 3D camera, the MLX75026, which is equipped with a fully integrated Infrared Band-pass (IRBP) filter. By incorporating IRBP, it eliminates the need to incorporate a separate infrared filter in the lens or sensor assembly. The device is targeted at automotive applications, including safety applications related to driver monitoring, in-car monitoring, gesture control, and airbag deployment
Melexis has introduced the latest DVKs for current sensor IC evaluation. The company has also introduced two new development kits. One DVK allows engineers to experiment with permutations with IMC-Hall technology (with or without shielding), while the other does the same with traditional core-based Hall technology. The new DVK is equipped with several of the company's existing sensors. The programmer can test different magnetic configurations and ics, saving time and effort during the selection process.
Melexis has released a new LIN brushless DC motor front driver with small size, high performance and dynamic performance for automotive electromechanical applications. The MLX81340 (32KB Flash) and MLX81344 (64KB Flash) integrate three high-side and low-side drive channels. They control the external NFET with up to 60nC capacitive processing applications up to 500W. The IC complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and is specified in the operating temperature range of -40C to 150C.
