The P-Duke MPQ60W series is a high-performance DC-DC converter for a wide range of medical and home care applications, including laser therapy, electrosurgical systems, medical cosmetology, endoscopy devices, therapy chairs, patient monitoring, drug delivery, defibrillation devices, and much more.
Due to their low leakage current less than 4.5μA, these converters can also be used in the most rigorous classification of CF application parts (heart flotation) devices.
The products comply with IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1, IEC/EN 60601-1-2 Fourth Edition and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 certification. It is designed with 5000VAC enhanced 2 × MOPP insulation, 250VAC operating voltage and 8mm air clearance and creepage distance.
Optimized manufacturing process and construction with ISO 13485 certification ensure the highest reliability. ISO 14971 risk management documentation is available to support designers in developing technical documentation for medical devices. These high-density power converters provide 60W output power in a quarter brick package and feature a patented transformer design that enables the converters to operate at up to 92.5% efficiency. They have 4-1 input ranges of 9-36VDC and 18-75VDC and are equipped with protective circuits for over/undervoltage protection, over current and short circuit protection, and over temperature protection.
These devices are also compliant with mil-STD-810F shock and vibration. Operating at altitudes of up to 5000m and operating ambient temperatures ranging from -40C to +105C make these converters an excellent choice for powering any medical application that requires a safety barrier.
