Date de Parution: 2015-10-03
The ams AS5047P 14-bit magnetic rotary position sensor is designed for high-speed (up to 28krpm) angle measurement over the entire 360-degree range. AS5047P is equipped with revolutionary Integrated Dynamic Angle Error Compensation (DAEC) with almost zero latency. It provides a rugged design that suppresses the effects of any uniform external stray magnetic fields. The standard 4-wire SPI serial interface allows the host microcontroller to read 14-bit absolute angular position data from the AS5047P and to program non-volatile settings without the need for a dedicated programmer. Incremental motion is displayed on a set of ABI signals. In decimal mode, the maximum resolution is 4000 steps / 1000 pulses per revolution, and in binary mode, the maximum resolution is 4096 steps / 1024 pulses per revolution. The resolution of the ABI signal is programmable and can be reduced to 100 steps / 25 pulses per revolution. Brushless DC (BLDC) motors are controlled via a standard UVW commutation interface, where the number of programmable pole pairs is 1 to 7. The absolute angular position is also provided as a PWM-coded output signal. Typical applications include BLDC commutation, factory / building automation, robotics, permanent magnet synchronous motors, stepper motors, and optical encoder replacement.
