The new generation of MagI³C VDMM power modules: The output variable step-down micromodule products now cover all bus voltages from 3.3 V to 24 V, including point-of-load power supplies, and can be connected directly to the 24V bus. Ultra-wide input voltage, with input up to 36V, allows the module to reliably withstand voltage pulses on the 24V bus. The tiny modules are optimized for space-constrained applications and housed in a compact LGA-8 package. The adjustable output voltage range is from 1 V to 6 V, and the current is up to 0.3 A.

The MagI³C-VDMM series is the first choice for replacing linear power supplies. Applications include power supply interfaces, microcontrollers, microprocessors, DSPs and FPGAs. Small package and high efficiency (up to 87%), especially suitable for mobile and battery powered devices. It can be set to sleep mode via a separate pin, further saving power.

Power modules from Würth Electronics have been pre-tested for EMC and can pass RE and CE tests with matching filters and meet EN55032/CISPR32 class B limits.
