Mouser, along with Analog Devices, Wurth Elektronik, and HARTING, now offers a new solution page for single-pair Ethernet (SPE) technology.
The rise of smart factories and the Industrial Internet of Things points to the need for strong connections within factories. Ethernet is the primary architecture for large-scale industrial connectivity and the primary means of connecting automated systems to networks. SPE technology transmits high-performance data and power through a single wire pair to field-grade actuator devices and sensors.
The new solutions page provides valuable content, including a technical article, videos, and webinars that provide insights into implementing Ethernet connectivity to the edge. The site also provides convenient product information for these companies' 10BASE-T1L SPE solutions.
Analog Devices' new industrial Ethernet solution offers two flexible options: the ADIN1110 MAC PHY and the ADIN1100 PHY. The ADIN1110 MAC PHY promotes the industry's lowest-power systems, simplifies Ethernet retrofitting in field sensors or actuators, and supports connectivity to any microprocessor through an SPI interface.
The ADIN1100 is a robust low-power Ethernet PHY that complies with the IEEE 802.3cg Ethernet standard and delivers 10Mbps connectivity over 1.7 km of single-twisted pair cable. The ADIN1100 PHY provides a standard Ethernet interface and supports use in more complex designs, making it a reliable choice for process control, factory automation, and building automation applications.
Wurth Elektronik SPE flux has excellent signal performance, safety isolation and ESD protection in a compact volume. SPE products can save up to 75% PCB space compared to standard Ethernet magnets. Very compact signal transformer allows industrial safety isolation of 2250V/60s, in accordance with IEC 62368-1 standard.
HARTING T1 Industrial SPE products offer highly optimized high-frequency design and effective mechanical robustness, making them an excellent choice for industrial applications including robotics, machinery, transportation and agricultural equipment. Its industrial SPE products reach the field level by using end-to-end IP-based communication to provide barrier-free connectivity.
