Technology Cover
Date de Parution: 2022-03-18, Newava Technology Inc.

New Yorker Electronics now offers Sumida's new high-efficiency inductor, the CDB38D38 line. This series is suitable for low ferrite core loss. Similar to other types in the CDB family, this new surface mount inductor features low DCR tolerances and high efficiency magnetic shielding.

Both versions offer a typical DCR of 0.32mOhm at 20 degrees. The new CDB38D38NP-R065MC offers 0.065%±20% inductance and A maximum saturation current of 24.5a, while the CDB38D38NP-R10PC offers 0.1±25% inductance and A maximum saturation current of 14.5a.

The new series is typically used with multiphase and Vcore regulators as well as server and desktop VRMS, cpus and Gpus. Other uses will include ASics, high power density and data network density, graphics cards and battery powered systems.
