ROHM adds seven new devices, the R60xxVNx family, optimized for power circuits in industrial equipment requiring high power, such as electric vehicle charging, servers and base stations, and motor drivers in white goods, which are increasingly used Inverter to meet the trend of better energy saving. Its PrestoMOS family of 600V superjunction MOSFETs stands out for its leading low ON resistance and the industry's fastest reverse recovery time (trr).
Using the latest proprietary process, the new series offers the industry's fastest reverse recovery time while reducing ON resistance by up to 20% compared to similar products (a tradeoff).
In terms of reverse recovery time, the new mosfet inherits the breakthrough 105ns already provided by existing PrestoMOS products, which can reduce switching losses by about 17% compared to other solutions. With these two options, the new device increases efficiency in a variety of applications.
At the same time, users are allowed to choose the best product according to the needs of the application. And two lower ON resistance models have been added to the R60xxYNx series of standard low ON resistance 600V super junction MOSFETs.
