The Microchip Technology ATMXT640UD-DEV-PCB control board (EV30P71A) is the development platform for ATMXT640UD maXTouch touch controller. It includes proprietary differential touch sensing that provides unmatched noise resistance and ensures excellent touch performance even in harsh environments.
The device helps detect and track multi-finger thick glove touch through a variety of covering materials and thicknesses, even in the presence of moisture, water and even saltwater. Combined with high acquisition speed, these features provide fast, accurate and reliable touch solutions. The controller also includes diagnostic capabilities to continuously monitor the integrity of the touch system.
The control board is used with the MaxTouch bridge board (ATUSB-HSBB-PCB), allowing connections to PCS running MaxTouch Studio LITE software. The board features a pre-installed ATMXT640UD maXTouch touchscreen controller in a 6mm x 6mm UFBGA-88 package.
