TDK Lambda announced the launch of TDK lambda brand RFE2500 series AC and DC power supply. The RFE series provides up to 2500 W output power in a low-key 1u package, with rugged screw terminals and bus bar connections. These industrial supplies are ideal for use in many applications requiring reliable 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V bulk power supplies. 90 - 93% operating efficiency minimizes waste heat loss and simplifies system cooling requirements. The general input of RFE2500 is 85 to 265 V (AC), and its application range includes communication, factory automation, testing, measurement and broadcast/RF amplifier.


RFE2500 has the functions of AC failure, DC good, remote on/off, remote sensing, 12 V 0.5 a auxiliary power supply,+/- 20% output voltage regulation (through the front panel potentiometer, external resistance or 0-5 V signal), overcurrent setpoint programming, etc. Up to 8 units can be connected in parallel to obtain higher power, and the internal toroidal FET allows redundant operation. Models with "/S" suffix include optional I2C/PMBus serial communication ports for remote programming of output voltage and remote on/off.
