TDK has expanded its EPCOS ERU SMT power inductor portfolio with the ERU19 choke series, which includes ten different types. The inductance of the new ERU chokes has been extended from 1.0µH to 30µH, and its saturation current ranges from 10.1ADC to 43ADC. The outstanding feature of these new power inductors is their compact design: their dimensions are only 19.9mm x 20.5mm, and their insertion heights are as low as 8.35mm (1.0µH) to 10.85mm (30µH), depending on the type. This low profile design is based on flat rectangular spiral winding technology to reduce losses. The DC resistance is between 1.20mohm and 18.65mohm.
