SoC drives 5G radio efficiency and performance

   ADI has released the RadioVerse SoC family, providing RU developers with a flexible and cost-effective platform to produce the industry's most energy efficient 5G RU. The new SoC family provides advanced RF signal processing with expanded digital capabilities and RF capacity, significantly improving 5G RU performance and energy efficiency. SoC is the latest addition to its RadioVerse ecosystem, combining its zero intermediate frequency (ZiF) architecture with significant advances in functional integration and linearization. The RadioVerse device is said to be the most widely used software-defined transceiver in 4G and 5G RU in the world.

   Compared to other solutions, the new SoC family requires very low power and performs advanced algorithms to provide optimal RU system efficiency.

"Each generation provides expanded capabilities, bandwidth and performance, while improving RU's overall efficiency. This new RadioVerse SoC family is a big step forward by realizing several advances in signal processing to meet 5G requirements."
