TDK has released the new B78416A* Compact EPCOS transformer with EP six-core for ultrasonic applications. Depending on the type, the new SMD version transformer offers inductance values between 3mH and 5mH, which is the ideal frequency between 52kHz and 300kHz. The series includes five conversion ratios ranging from 1:1:8.42 to 1:1:15.
The component conforms to the AEC-Q200 and offers a highly compact size of only 9mm x 7.6mm x 7.1mm, with magnetic shielding to better suppress interference. Permissible operating temperature range :-40℃~ +125℃.
In ultrasonic applications, transformers provide optimal impedance matching between the driving IC and the ultrasonic transmitter or receiver. General applications include parking AIDS, industrial robots, unmanned aerial vehicles, logistics robots, AGVs and filling level measurement systems.
