The STMicroelectronics STEVAL-CBL010V1 evaluation board can implement a DC-DC converter based on the LNBH25 regulator. LNBH25 is used to power the LNB inside the dish antenna that receives satellite TV signals. STEVAL-CBL010V1 is an integrated solution for providing / connecting satellite LNB modules according to international standards. It uses few external components and is a complete solution for a single tuner satellite receiver. The LNBH25 evaluation board includes an I2C bus interface. The internal 22 kHz tone generator (adjusted at the factory) is controlled by the DSQIN pin (TTL compatible), allowing immediate DiSEqC data encoding. The company says that the fully integrated boost DC-DC converter allows operation from a single input voltage source of 8V to 16V.
