Rohm and AMIHO Technology are designed to get users up and running quickly with Sub-GHz radio designs, and they have launched their latest evaluation kit. This kit contains two nodes based on AMIHO's AM060 868 MHz wireless M-bus radio modem module. This design uses ROHM LAPIS ML7345 radio transceiver.
AM060 module has high sensitivity, neatly housed in AMIHO's compact footprint (17.8mm x 20.3mm), and comes pre-installed with AMIHO's full-featured wireless M-Bus software stack and driver, with on-board power saving Functional and ready for mass production. In addition, because security is a major concern of today's intelligent networks, it includes AES128 encryption and AES256.
