Recom's new product is a new generation of low power modules with a rated output of 2W or 3W. One of the main new features is the extended operating temperature range. Therefore, the power supplies of the RAC02-SE / 277 and RAC03-SE / 277 series can now be used in areas where the temperature drops to -40C. 2W modules are now also available with cables.
The RAC02-SE / 277 and RAC03-SE / 277 modules are only 18mm high and are very compact. They can adapt to a wide input power range of 85-305VAC (120-430VDC) and provide 3.3, 5, 12 and 24VDC output voltages. When idle, the module's maximum power consumption is 40mW, so it is particularly suitable for powering sensors and backup equipment. The insulation strength between input and output is 3kVAC / min. These modules can be used as DIP units or wired units with standard pin assignments.
Because the module has an integrated input filter, it meets the requirements of EN55022 Class B. As a result, they can operate without additional external components, are short-circuit protected, and can be automatically restarted after troubleshooting. The company states that these modules have been certified to IEC / EN / UL 60950.
