RECOM – Upgraded high power density DC-DC converter in SIP7 case for demanding industrial applications

RECOM's new RKZ3 DC-DC converter series is a pin-compatible upgrade of its existing 2W SIP7 converter, providing 50% extra power density in the same footprint. This series of 3W high isolation DC-DC converters are suitable for demanding industrial applications. They are used to isolate power, disconnect ground loops or separate multi-channel inputs. These inputs need to be better than standard SIP7 isolated DC-DC converters. Need more power. These high-efficiency converters have input voltages of 5VDC, 12VDC, and 24VDC, and standard output voltages of 5VDC and 12VDC. They can operate in a temperature range of -40C to + 90C. This series is pin-compatible with the RK and RKZ series and is available as standard in 3kVDC or 4kVDC (/ H version). They also have continuous short-circuit protection (/ P version). The series has passed IEC / EN62368-1 safety certification and comes with a three-year warranty.
