Molex announced a new distribution agreement with Molex's ISI. ISI's hardware, software and FPGA IP design teams deliver innovative products that facilitate faster, smarter systems.
The company now offers ISI PCI Express XMC modules by protocol, including XW-AWG, which provides two eight-lane high-speed serial links supporting PCIe Gen 3. The module supports 1x to 24X interpolation and sub-nanosecond channel-to-channel synchronization alignment. Support for external clocks and triggered inputs provides synchronization of multiple modules to achieve an extensible RF channel count.
Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale XCKU060 FPGA with 4GBytes OF DDR4 RAM supports high-performance DSP core, satisfying radar and wireless if generation applications. The card also provides two 16-bit analog devices, AD9162 DAC devices, which operate at a 5GSPS update rate.
Xa-160m PCI Express XMC modules are also provided for high-speed stimulus response, ultrasonic and servo control applications. The module features two 160MSPS, 16-bit ADC inputs and two 615MSPS, 16-bit DAC outputs. The PCIe interface provides a flexible and scalable data packet system with data rates up to 1600Mbps.
A range of internal and external clock and trigger modes provide application flexibility and multi-module scalability. Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA device supports 256Mx16 memory, providing data acquisition control, signal processing, buffering and system interface functions. Using the framework Logic toolset, XA-160m logic can be fully customized using VHDL and Simulink platforms.
The adapter is completely transparent to PCI Express and all PCI Express host bus signals are directly connected to the XMC module. The ISI PCIe XMC X8 channel adapter supports the use of single-width XMC modules in PCI Express slots. The XMC module is compatible with VITA 42.3 and supports up to eight PCI Express channels.
