Technology Cover
Date de Parution: 2022-08-21, Analog Devices Inc.

The Analog Devices ADPD4200 sensor, functions as a complete multimodal sensor front end, stimulating up to four LEDs. The sensor also measures the return signal of up to four independent current inputs.

The sensor has 12 time slots, allowing 12 individual measurements per sampling period. And there are multiple applications in wearable health and fitness monitors, industrial monitoring, and home patient monitoring devices. The sensor includes a control circuit with flexible LED signals and synchronization detection. The device uses a 1.8V analog core and 1.8V or 3.3V compatible digital input/output (I/O).

The sensor features dual-channel processing, simultaneous sampling, on-chip digital filtering, 400mA total peak LED drive current, and a 512-byte FIFO size.
