The binder offers an extra coded M12 connector as part of its 763 product range, which comes with square flanged housing for assembly. As a unique feature, multi-position one code supports variable cable connections. Also conducive to flexible use are flange housings and contact carriers that can be handled separately.

The series method blue variant consists of two parts: metal flange housing and contact carrier. The latter has a lockable code head that can be rotated in 45-degree increments. The two part design supports user-friendly, safe assembly.

The range includes M12A signal connectors equipped with four -, five - and eight-pin as well as single - wire or welded contact points. Single-wire versions are available in square enclosures 20 mm or 26 mm wide. In the version with solder contact, it measures 20 mm. The single line version of the M12 has a 26mm square housing with the same drilling scheme as the M16. This enables the user to switch between design sizes without having to adjust existing housings such as sensor/actuator boxes.

Maximum wire gauge for rectangular flanged M12 connector with multi-digit lockable A code is 0.25mm2 (AWG 24). Rated current reaches 4A (3A UL), 2A (1.5A UL) and 8 in all four - and five-pin versions, respectively. Rated voltages are 250V (four pins), 60V (five pins) and 30V (eight pins). The corresponding rated impulse voltage is specified as 2500V, 1500V and 800V respectively. Connector meets density requirements - combined with proper sealing, but no defined tightening torque - meets protection class IP69. They are suitable for operating temperatures from -40C to +85C.
