Microchip Technology's MCP9600 Thermocouple EMF to Temperature Converter converts thermocouple EMF to Celsius with integrated cold junction compensation. It corrects the non-linear error characteristics of the thermocouples of the eight thermocouple types and outputs accurate temperature data of ± 1.5C for the selected thermocouple. The correction coefficient is from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) ITS-90 thermocouple database.
