Melexis MLX92352 3-axis programmable Hall Effect latches/switches are sensitive to magnetic fields on the X, Y and Z axes for packaging. Various axis combinations of ZX, ZY, XY, XX, YY or ZZ are possible on the open-drain output of the device. The MLX92352 offers a final configurable pitch independent magnetic design with a 90° phase shift.

Melexis MLX92352 Three-axis Programmable Hall Effect latch/switch allows PCB-free module designs, eliminating the need for external passive components, saving space and total module cost for automotive and industrial applications. In addition, the MLX92352 can withstand 15kV HBM and 8kV system ESD with high EMC robustness. The MLX92352 provides magnetic flexibility by detecting the rotation speed and direction of the ring magnet when configured as a dual magnetic latch.

It can also switch two independent magnet positions for complex position designs. Users can benefit from the MLX92352's end-of-line (EoL) programming capabilities to trim mechanical tolerances. Programming can be done using PTC04 or EVB2.
