The TPS717 series low-drop differential (LDO), low-power linear regulators provide very high power supply suppression (PSRR) while maintaining a very low 45μa ground current in a subcompact five-pin SOT package. The advanced BiCMOS process and PMOS channel devices enable fast start, extremely low noise, excellent transient response and excellent PSRR performance.

The TPS717 features a 1μf ceramic output capacitor for stable performance and uses precise reference voltage and feedback loops to achieve 3% worst-case accuracy across all load, line, process and temperature variations. The device family is fully specified from TJ = -40°C to 125°C and is available in a small SOT (SC70-5) package, a 2 mm x 2 mm WSON-6 package and a 1.5 mm x 1.5 mm WSON-6 package, ideal for small size portable devices such as wireless cell phones and PDAs.
