The material is used in a manner similar to traditional thermal interface materials between ICs and heat sources such as heat sinks or other heat transfer equipment or metal racks. The company states that the CoolZorb 400 also suppresses unwanted energy coupling, resonance or surface currents, causing board-level EMI issues.
