KEMET
The new Kemet Organic Capacitor (KO-CAP), an electrolytic capacitor with a conductive polymer cathode that has been sold, combines the low ESR of multilayer ceramics, the high capacitance of aluminum electrolysis, and the volumetric efficiency of tantalum into a surface mount package . Unlike capacitors based on liquid electrolytes, KO-CAP has a longer service life and higher ripple current capability.
T598 high-performance automotive-grade polymer electrolytic capacitors have been specially developed to provide higher stability and reliability under harsh environmental conditions. Due to special improvements in materials and design, KEMET T598 can run for 1000 hours at 85 ° C / 85% RH / VR, and fully meet the AEC-Q200 qualification test. It is produced in an ISO TS16949 certified factory and is subject to PPAP / PSW and change control. The equipment meets or exceeds the EIA standard 535BAAC.
Performance characteristics include an operating temperature range of -55C to + 125C and a rated capacitance range of 120-250C at 47-330µF. The rated voltage is 6.3V-16V.
Typical applications include decoupling and filtering between products for multiple markets, but it is particularly suitable for automotive applications such as infotainment and input / output in DC-DC converters exposed to high humidity and temperature.
