Infineon's IFX54441 wide input range low noise LDO regulator. Micropower, low noise, low dropout voltage regulators are provided in a compact SMD package. Each device can provide an output current of 300mA with a voltage drop of only 270mV. The low 30��A quiescent current makes this device ideal for battery-powered systems.
A key feature of the IFX54441 is its low output noise. By adding an external 0.01��F bypass capacitor, output noise values ??as low as 24��VRMS can be achieved over a 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth. The IFX54441 regulator can be stabilized with output capacitors as small as 3.3��F. Small ceramic capacitors can be used without the series resistance required by traditional regulators.
Applications include microcontroller power supplies, noise-sensitive instruments, radar and image sensors.
