   TDK Corporation introduced 200W TDK-lambda brand PYH200 series DC-DC converters. This facilitates applications in accordance with EN 50155. The housing is a silicon tank providing high shock and vibration resistance. And offering an ultra-wide 14 to 160VDC input range of 12:1, these board mount products are packaged in an industry standard half-brick format measuring 61mm x 57.9mm x 12.7mm (L x W x H).

     All versions of the device provide overcurrent, output overvoltage, and overtemperature protection. Standard features include remote sensing, remote on/off, frequency synchronization of external clocks, and the ability to extend delay times by connecting electrolytic capacitors to the bus terminals. Also provides 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V nominal output, adjustable range -20% to +15% of non-standard voltage.

    Certified to IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 safety standards, low voltage and RoHS directive with CE and UKCA marks. The equipment, as well as the typical test set-up, have been tested to meet the railway standards EN 50155, EN 45545-2, EN 61373 and EN 50121-3-2. Input to output and input backplane isolation is 3000VAC, and output backplane isolation is 500VAC.

   The power module has optional radiator assisted forced air cooling, convection cooling or the module can be conduction cooled. Offers 90% efficiency and operates at baseplate temperatures from -40°C to +100°C.
