Fujitsu - New satellite navigation module has faster and more accurate positioning

Technology Cover
Date de Parution: 2018-12-18, Fujitsu Electronics America, Inc.
Fujitsu Europe is expanding its ultra-low-power portfolio to include a multi-receiver GNSS module: MSB1054. GNSS now includes multiple systems: not only GPS, but also GLONASS, QZSS, SBAS, Galileo and BeiDou. The ability to receive signals from several satellite systems greatly reduces TTFF, which means faster and more accurate positioning. In addition to the GNSS device itself, the device also provides a built-in RF front-end (SAW filter, LNA) and TCXO, so no external components are required other than the antenna. In addition, the company's GNSS module is equipped with built-in flash memory, which can be quickly "hot-started" to save navigation data and further optimize its performance. This device has an ultra-small size of 5.8mm x 6.2mm x 1mm, and only has a current of 3.4mA in low power mode (tracking, such as Period 60s). It is a smart watch, fitness tracker, logistics (asset tracking and monitoring), Indoor or outdoor navigation.
