SC4524B is a constant-frequency peak-current mode step-down switching regulator in an SOIC-8 EDP package capable of producing 2A output current from 3V to 18V inputs. The SC4524B has a programmable switching frequency up to 2MHz, allows miniaturization using small inductors and ceramic capacitors, and has a high input/output conversion ratio.


SC4524B Pin Configuration

                          

SC4524B is suitable for next generation XDSL modems, HDTVS and a variety of load point applications. And the use of peak current PWM control, to achieve fast transient response, loop compensation is simple. Cyclic current limiting and burping overload protection reduce power consumption during output overload. The soft startup function reduces the input startup current to prevent output overshoot during power-on.
