Diodes further strengthens its PCIe solution family by adding a new ReDriver device with high data transmission rate. PI2EQX16924 is a PCIe 4.0 ReDriver that can operate through 1.8V voltage rail. Other competitive solutions must use 3.3V voltage rail, so it is suitable for various computing and data communication product applications.

The power consumption of PI2EQX16924 in active and low power consumption modes is only 288mW and 27mW respectively, which is a very important feature of saving battery power in portable product applications. X2-QFN package with 32 pins. At the same time, it can handle data transmission rate up to 16Gbps. The device complies with the PCIe 4.0 standard and is backward compatible with the PCIe 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 generation standards. Supports an industrial temperature range of - 40 ° C to 85 ° C.

The device has four differential channels, which can independently set the equalization and smoothing gain of the receiver. This can reduce intersymbol interference and allow compensation for signal loss, thereby achieving longer PCB circuit lengths. Because I2C interface is used for setting, the requirement for firmware is extremely low.
