Diodes Incorporated's new D5V0F3B6LP20 diode array provides transient voltage suppression (TVS) for USB data and power connections and is one of the most rugged protection devices in its class. It targets consumer and mobile communications products with a USB interface, especially those that use the new USB Power Delivery (PD) protocol that supports fast charging and higher power connections. D5V0F3B6LP20 integrates three bidirectional I / O channels and one VBUS channel, which can provide 3.2kW lightning surge stress protection for the VBUS power line. The peak pulse current (IPP2) is up to 80A, which meets the requirements of IEC61000-4-5. The low 0.4pF input capacitance on the I / O channel ensures compatibility with high-speed data ports such as USB 2.0 OTG (mobile), and the device also supports USB 3.x data rates. The maximum leakage of D5V0F3B6LP20 on VBUS and I / O pins is only 50nA, which can not only save battery power, but also meet the application requirements of ultra-low leakage such as medical equipment. In addition to providing a more robust surge protection solution than the competition, the device also achieves a compact PCB layout in a small DFN2020 package
