RECOM has added the RSH2 series to its DC-DC converter range. These units have short circuit and overcurrent protection and meet en55032 class A or B input noise limits with simple external filters. Minimum load is not required and switching control is standard. The series offers nominal inputs of 3.3V (2.8-5.5V), 5V/9V (4.5-13.2V), 12V (9-18V) and 24V (18-36V) for battery or bus powered systems. And it also offers a fully regulated, low noise, isolated 2W DC-DC converter in a surface mount package. The outputs provided are 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and 24V.

The product is ideal for demanding test and measurement, industrial and transportation applications. So the operating temperature is from -40℃ to 85℃ without lowering the rating,

The isolation level is 2kVDC/60s (3kVDC/60s is optional), and the device is UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 certified. These components comply with roHS-2 standards.

The series is available in a compact, lightweight DIP14 SMD case in tubular or coiled packaging. These parts can be welded to infrared ovens or gas phase reflow using industry standard JEDEC profiles.

"The surface-mounted RSH2 series is the perfect way to generate isolated on-board power rails in mains and battery-powered equipment. RSH2 will also be used for ground loop isolation in industrial sensors and bus communication networks."" Matthew Dauterive, product manager for RECOM DC-DC said.
