This solution consists of Richtek's PWM controller RT7757 supporting zero voltage switching (ZVS), synchronous rectifier RT7220D and programmable controller RT7202KLA. Among them, RT7202KLA is a programmable controller including feedback compensation and internal voltage regulator. Its internal integrated MCU can process various protocols through CC1/CC2/D+/D- interfaces.
And the controller is also designed for the off-line high power density AC/DC converter used in the fast charging system, and the output power can be distributed through the Master/Slave communication on the I2C bus. In addition, the device's built-in feedback compensation not only reduces the number of external components, but also improves transient response.
With the excellent performance of the device and the company's advanced technology, this solution has a very high degree of integration, and due to the use of secondary ZVS control technology, the solution has a good performance in terms of power consumption, efficiency and heat reduction. In terms of fast charging, this solution is compatible with the most widely used QC4.0, PD3.0 and recently popular UFCS charging protocols on the market.
