Flex Power Modules extend the range of their 2" x 1" package through hole DC-DC converters. These components maintain the 8:1 wide input range of the PKE8000A series, 12V, 24V, 28V or 48V nominal inputs suitable for a variety of industrial, transportation, RFPA and IT applications. It contains three new components with single outputs of 24V (21.6-26.4V), 48V (43.2-52.8V) and 54V (48.6-59.4V).
The package of these power-intensive converters provides mechanical protection and reliable operation in high shock and vibration levels or high dust/humidity environments.
The 40W output power can be used for convective cooling at high ambient temperatures, maintaining high conversion efficiency across the load and input voltage range through innovative design. The maximum operating temperature is 115C(with derating).
The PKE8000A series has 2250V input/output isolation rating, according to IEC/UL 62368-1, which fully protects against input overvoltage and output overload, short circuit, overvoltage and overtemperature. Remote control pins are supplied with voltage leveling.the product size is 2 "× 1" (25.4mm × 50.8mm) and the height is 0.47 "(11.9mm).
