Vishay Intertechnology has released a new IHCM common mode choke for 35A high current commercial applications. Vishay Custom Magnetics IHCM-2321AA-10 features a low-profile surface mount construction that is more robust than bulky ring-based devices and delivers superior performance in the +155C temperature range.
The device is surface-mountable and compatible with automatic pick and drop assembly, increasing flexibility in board layout. And because of its low-profile profile, the device offers a smaller size and volume, making it more resistant to shock and vibration, while the enhanced core design expands current saturation to 35A.
With excellent saturation characteristics, low DCR losses, and voltage resistance between coils in 1500VDC media, it is an excellent addition to commercial grade DC-DC converters, EMI filters, and high current filters for noise suppression motor control and industrial and telecommunications applications.
The device is ROHS compliant, halogen-free and Vishay Green. In addition to standard surface-mounted configurations, the device offers customizable inductance, impedance, DCR and current ratings, as well as through-hole mounting options.
