    Hirose has extended its family of microwire-to-board connectors to incorporate the single-row right-angle version. Compared to similar products, the compact GT50 series wireline to board connector spacing is only 1mm, saving PCB space and reducing weight by up to 75%. The line of wire-to-plate connectors is ideal for both traditional and emerging automotive applications, providing superior heat and vibration resistance in ultra-small enclosures.

   This series of wire-to-plate connectors feature a two-point contact system enclosed between two springs to reduce the impact of thermal shrinkage on contacts and improve contact reliability. As a result, the connector supports high temperature applications up to 125C.

   The series features 25N of high retention and a user-friendly locking design that provides clear tactile clicks to prevent incomplete fits. And the use of a unique stabilizer can reduce the wear of the contact area between the plug and the pressure contact point, which is usually caused by vibration. To improve insertion safety, strong cable wiring design prevents disconnection.
