C&K has released a new line of sealed anti-damage button switches ATPS22. The new switch fits the limited space design behind the panel. In addition to the solder lug layout, switches are provided with terminals for simple integration into the product. Shorter bushings are provided compared to the ATP19 and 22 series.

The IP67 rating allows the device to be used in harsh outdoor environments as well as standard indoor Settings. It has a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, making it ideal for frequently used applications and applications that are difficult to maintain once built.

The range is typically used in applications such as safety and security systems, intercom "one-click" devices, food and beverage vending machines, parking lot ticket machines/ticketing stations and industrial instruments.

"The versatile ATPS22 was developed to fill a gap in C&K's product offering that required a shorter body button," said Edward Mork, GLOBAL Product Manager at C&K. "Adding shorter bushings allows the switch to adapt to more applications while still performing the task at hand to cope with the many drivers of the future."
