The OPA241 and OPA251 series are specifically designed for battery-powered portable applications. The OPA241 and OPA251(single version) are available in standard 8-pin DIP and SO-8 surface-mount packages. The OPA2241 and OPA2251(dual versions) are packaged in 8-pin DIP and SO-8 surface mount packages. The OPA4241 and OPA4251(four-control versions) are available in 14-pin DIP and SO-14 surface-mount packages. All of these are fully specified from -40°C to +85°C and operate from -55°C to +125°C.

In addition to extremely low power consumption (25µA), these amplifiers feature low bias voltage, rail-to-rail output swing, high common-mode suppression, and high open-loop gain. The OPA241 series is optimized for low power supply voltages, while the OPA251 series is optimized for high power supplies. Both can use a single power supply (+2.7V to +36V) or a dual power supply (±1.35V to ±18V). The input common-mode voltage range extends up to 200mV below negative power - ideal for single-power applications.


They are unit-gain stable and can drive capacitive loads. Special design considerations ensure that these products are easy to use. When the amplifier swings to its specified limit, high performance is maintained. Since the initial bias voltage (±250 μV max) is very low, no user adjustment is usually required. However, external decorative pins are provided for special applications (single version only).
