Amphenol RF offers new small form factor AMC4 connectors as part of the SMA cable assembly line. This assembly provides the popular SMA bulkhead jack connector and the newly created AMC4 plug connector on a 1.13mm cable. SMA to AMC4 cable assemblies are ideal for IoT applications that require space-efficient and economical designs.
These SMA to AMC4 cable assemblies provide excellent electrical performance from DC to 6GHz and operate at 50 Ohms. The new configuration is available in the form of push-in to right-angle plugs, with standard lengths of 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25 and 0.30. Custom lengths are also available.
This connector is currently the smallest connector in the company's product portfolio. It is similar in size to the company's AMMC connector and has all the same advantages as the AMC interface, but with a smaller package size. This connector is interchangeable with I-PEX MHF4 and Murata HSC connectors.
