Mouser currently sells Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) and High Density Resistive Random access Memory (ReRAM) products from Fujitsu Semiconductor Memory solutions.
The company's FRAM products can be seen in many important applications, including automotive, industrial, medical and consumer products. Fujitsu FRAMs is a new generation of non-volatile memory, which meets engineers' requirements of higher read/write endurance, faster write speed and lower power consumption than EEPROM. FRAM offers serial (SPI and I²C), parallel interfaces, and a wide range of compact, high-density package types. Memory sizes are available, from 4Kbits to 8Mbits. It was the first company to begin mass production of FRAM in 1999.
The REAM provides an SPI interface and can operate in the supply voltage range of 1.6V to 3.6V. Eeprom compatible devices offer very low power consumption, with a read state of just 0.15mA and a write state of just 1.5mA. This, coupled with its 8Mbit density, makes it ideal for small battery-powered wearables such as smartwatches, hearing AIDS, and smart glasses.
