The DMM6500
has all the measurement functions expected from a bench-top multimeter without having to purchase additional
measurement functions. It has 15 measurement functions including
capacitance, temperature (RTD, thermistor and thermocouple),
diode test with variable current source, and digitization up to 1 MS / sec.
Digitization can be used for voltage or current, and is especially useful when
capturing transient anomalies or helping analyze
power events such as
the operating state of today's battery-powered devices. Current and voltage can be
digitized by a programmable 1 MS / sec 16-bit digitizer, allowing
waveforms to be acquired without a separate instrument.
The most noticeable feature of the DMM6500 is the large 5-inch
capacitive touch display, which can easily achieve
"pinch-to-zoom", and is easy to observe, interact and browse measurements. In addition to its
display technology, the DMM6500's outstanding analog measurement
performance also provides basic DCV accuracy of 25 PPM for one year and
30 PPM accuracy for two years, allowing users to extend the calibration cycle.
