The LTC6930 series is a very low power precision silicon oscillator family with a frequency error of less than 0.09%. For each oscillator, the user can choose one of eight frequencies between 32.768kHz and 8.192MHz. The inner part frequencers between 1 and 128 provide 8 different frequencies based on a fixed primary oscillator frequency.

The LTC6930 does not require any external components other than a power bypass capacitor. A single 1.7V to 5.5V power supply is required to run from a single lithium-ion battery or 2 AA alkaline batteries. The LTC6930 features a proprietary control architecture that allows ultra-low power operation while maintaining industry-leading accuracy and jitter specifications. The exceptionally fast startup time, combined with low power consumption, is ideal for battery running applications with frequent power cycles.
