The ADG1436 is a monolithic CMOS device containing two independently optional SPDT switches. The EN input on the LFCSP packet enables or disables the device. When disabled, all channels are closed. Each switch conducts well in both directions when turned on, and has an input signal range that extends to the power supply. In the off state, signal level until power supply is blocked. Both of these switches exhibit the break-before-make switch action in multiplexer applications.

ADG1436 adopts iCMOS process design. iCMOS(Industrial CMOS) is a modular manufacturing process that combines high-voltage CMOS(complementary metal oxide semiconductor) and bipolar technology. It is capable of developing a variety of high-performance analog ics capable of operating in a footprint of 33v, which was not possible with the previous generation of high-voltage components. Unlike analog ics using traditional CMOS processes, iCMOS components can withstand high power supply voltages while providing higher performance, significantly reduced power consumption, and reduced package size.

The on-resistance profile is very flat across the entire analog input range, ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. The iCMOS structure ensures ultra-low power consumption, making this part ideal for portable and battery-powered instruments
